Hi babies! It's mommy! I wish I had written in this more over the past 2 years :( I am sorry I have not kept up with it. You are now 5 (Jaxon) and 2 (Riley)! Can you believe it?! I sure can't. Jaxon, you are in kindergarten with Mrs. Callahan at Rockwell School in Bethel, CT. Riley, you are home all day every day with mama (and now dada). Daddy had a short term job at Mercedes selling cars, but he quit so mommy and daddy could launch our next business. We are always trying to find ways to make it work so that we can give you guys the world. We launched Sand Dragon Media - in fact our website isn't even live yet, that is how new it is! So we will see what happens. By the time you are reading this, you will already know the outcome of this business, and I hope you are living in California with a pool in your backyard... thankful that SDM took off with such success! Let's see... what is going on in our world. Gas is about $2.49/gallon. Donald Trump is somehow still president. We closed on the sale of Cotton Candy Fabrics on September 15, 2018. Mommy re-gained her black belt and has been training at World Champion Taekwondo with Master Kris. We are shopping for a new (to us) car. We have Samsung Galaxy S8+ phones. We are driving our gold mini van Chrysler Town & Country- but it has been overheating so we are in the market for a newer safer car. Some highlights... Jaxon- you are getting SO good at reading. You are hilarious, too. You are really into Roblox & Minecraft. You love watching YouTube videos by cookieswirlc on your iPad. You haven't been able to sit through a movie yet, so we don't go to the movie theater often. Riley- you are obsessed with UmiZoomi and can sing the entire intro theme song. You are a great eater. You are still nursing (mostly just at night). You have gotten quite a few booboos recently. You know your alphabet and can count to 20. You go potty on the big potty!

Capturing The Moments

Hi Jaxon & Riley! This is mommy's first post. I am snuggled right in between the two of you in bed and listening to the sweet, rhythmic sound of you both breathing. I want to keep up with this blog to leave you little notes, memories, bits of fun information... about your life, my life, our life together, your accomplishments, projects and photos, and whatever else I feel you might want to hold on to. This idea came to me the other day when I was giving Riley a massage after her tubby (that's what we call bath time). I give you both a massage after nearly every tubby. Daddy and I made some amazing baby massage oil, it's so simple to make. You combine organic grapeseed oil with some ylang ylang essential oil (just enough to scent the oil), and mix to combine. It makes you both smell so delicious, and I promise you get the best night sleep whenever you have an oil massage before bed. Tomorrow is going to be a busy day! Jaxon, you have school tomorrow! You are going on Mondays & Wednesdays from 9:00am-2:45pm at Country Kids Child Care in Brookfield, CT. I am not crazy about the school, but you have a lot of fun there, and I feel guilty making you sit bored to death in the fabric shop that daddy and I run. Riley comes to the shop all day with us, but you don't seem to mind :) Actually, if Jaxon had his way, he would spend all day at the shop with us, too! Jaxon, some of your favorites are going to the mall, going to Mohegan Sun (although we recently went to Foxwoods for the first time so you are pretty excited about that), eating sushi, going to slide like Ryan (Children's Movement Center in New Milford, CT), and any kind of arts/crafts project. Riley, some of your favorites are when mommy says "Ah-goo" to you, playing on your safari play mat (you are getting so good at grabbing the hanging toys!!), being carried by daddy on your belly while he walks around the fabric shop and lets you look at all the pretty colors (while drooling all over his arm!), snuggling up in bed, laying in the Boppy, and sitting up in the Bumbo. A quick overview of your environment: We live in Bethel, CT. It was raining/sleeting all day. Donald Trump recently was sworn in as President of the United States, gas is about $2.20/gallon, mommy is 28, daddy is 41, Jaxon is 3 1/2, and Riley is 3 months. We have 3 doggies (Juice aka Larry, Lucky, and Cowgirl). Mommy and daddy have a fabric business - Cotton Candy Fabrics. Jaxon's favorite song is All About the Bass (Meagan Trainer). Ok, time for mommy to go to bed. It's almost midnight and tomorrow will be here before we know it. I love you both with all my heart. When I look at you two, it makes my heart feel so complete. I have never felt as important in my life as you two make me feel. Love, mama
